30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Last updated: April 20, 2026

This 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee Policy sets forth the terms under which an Escapero member may request a refund of the price paid for their annual subscription if they consider that the service did not meet their expectations.

1. Purpose of this Policy

This 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee Policy (the “Policy”) sets forth the terms under which an Escapero member may request a refund of the price paid for their annual subscription if they consider that the service did not meet their expectations. This Policy forms an integral part of Escapero’s general Terms and Conditions and applies exclusively to the first-time purchase of any of the annual plans offered by Escapero LLC (hereinafter, “Escapero” or the “Company”).

2. Plans Covered by this Policy

The guarantee described in this Policy applies equally to the following annual membership plans purchased directly through Escapero’s official website or authorized channels:

  • radio_button_checkedFounding Member Plan ($149 USD per year).
  • radio_button_checkedAnnual Plan ($199 USD per year).
  • radio_button_checkedAnnual Plus Plan ($399 USD per year).

The guarantee applies exclusively to a member’s first-time purchase. Subsequent automatic annual renewals are not covered by this Policy and are governed by the cancellation and renewals section set forth in Escapero’s general Terms and Conditions.

3. Time Period to Request a Refund

The member has a period of thirty (30) calendar days to request a full refund of the price paid for their annual subscription. Such period is computed as follows:

  • radio_button_checkedThe count begins on the day the member completes their registration and processes payment for their annual subscription.
  • radio_button_checkedThe period expires at 11:59 p.m. (United States Eastern Time, ET) on the thirtieth (30th) calendar day following the date of payment.
  • radio_button_checkedRequests received after the expiration of the thirty (30) calendar-day period will not be processed, without exception.

4. Requirements for Eligibility

For a refund request to be eligible under this Policy, all of the following requirements must be met simultaneously:

4.1 No Reservations on File

The member must not have any active or historical reservations linked to their account at the time the request is submitted. For purposes of this Policy, a reservation that disqualifies a refund includes:

  • check_circle Any reservation with a future service date, whether for a hotel, flight, transfer, activity, or any other product booked through the Escapero portal, regardless of whether it has been paid in full or merely confirmed.
  • check_circle Any reservation that has already been consumed, meaning that the service has been rendered and used by the member on a date prior to the date of the refund request.
  • check_circle Any reservation that has been cancelled by the member or by the provider after its initial confirmation.

The spirit of this Policy is to serve the member who, having made no use of the service in any form, considers that the product does not meet their expectations. Accordingly, the placement of any reservation — active, consumed, or cancelled — is interpreted as use of the service and renders the refund ineligible under this Policy.

4.2 Completion of the Exit Form

It is a mandatory requirement that the member complete the exit form provided by Escapero. This form serves an informational and product-improvement purpose only; the answers provided by the member will not be evaluated, scored, or used as a criterion to determine the eligibility of the refund. The member is not required to justify the reason for their cancellation, but is required to submit the form with all required fields properly completed.

4.3 Formal Written Request

The member must submit their formal refund request, in writing, to the email address refunds@escapero.com, from the same email address with which they registered with Escapero. The request must include, at a minimum:

  • check_circle Full name of the member as it appears in their account.
  • check_circle Email address registered with the account.
  • check_circle Approximate date of purchase and plan acquired.
  • check_circle Express statement requesting to invoke the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

5. Procedure and Processing Timeframes

Once a complete request has been received from the member, Escapero will follow this procedure:

  • radio_button_checkedValidation and approval: Escapero will verify compliance with the requirements set forth in Section 4 and will notify the member of the approval or denial of the request within five (5) business days following receipt of the complete request, including the duly completed exit form.
  • radio_button_checkedIssuance of refund: Once the request has been approved, Escapero will instruct the issuance of the refund to its payment processor within ten (10) business days following the date of approval.
  • radio_button_checkedReflection in the member’s account statement: The refund will be issued to the same payment method used by the member at the time of subscription. The time it takes for the refund to appear in the member’s account statement will depend on the issuing bank or applicable processor, and may take an additional five (5) to ten (10) business days after the refund has been processed by Escapero.

In the aggregate, the maximum time between approval of the request and visibility of the refund in the member’s account statement will be up to fifteen (15) business days. Escapero shall not be liable for delays attributable to third-party financial institutions, nor for discrepancies in processing times of issuing banks or international payment networks.

6. Refund Method

The refund will be issued exclusively to the same payment method used by the member at the time of purchasing their annual subscription. Escapero will not issue refunds by check, bank transfer to a different account, cryptocurrency, credits for future use on the platform, or any alternative means, unless the original payment method has been cancelled or closed, in which case Escapero will coordinate a reasonable alternative with the member.

7. Cases Not Covered by this Policy

The following cases are expressly excluded from the scope of this Policy and shall not be eligible for refund:

  • radio_button_checkedRequests submitted after expiration of the thirty (30) calendar-day period set forth in Section 3.
  • radio_button_checkedRequests submitted by members whose accounts reflect any reservation — active, consumed, or cancelled — in accordance with Section 4.1.
  • radio_button_checkedAutomatic annual renewals following the first-time purchase. Cancellation of renewals is governed by Escapero’s general Terms and Conditions.
  • radio_button_checkedCharges associated with individual reservations made through the portal (hotels, flights, transfers, activities), which are governed by the specific cancellation policies of the corresponding provider.
  • radio_button_checkedRequests connected to cases of fraud, misuse, identity impersonation, violation of the Terms and Conditions, or repeated abuse of the service.
  • radio_button_checkedSubscriptions purchased through promotional codes, gifts, referral programs, or other campaigns whose particular terms expressly exclude application of this guarantee.

Any modification shall take effect upon publication and shall apply only to purchases made subsequent to such date. Refund requests submitted prior to the effective date of any modification will be processed in accordance with the version of the Policy in effect at the time of the member’s purchase.

Escapero reserves the right to deny refund requests where there are reasonable indications of bad faith, abuse of the Policy, or use of the service in a manner inconsistent with its nature. In such cases, Escapero will communicate the reasons for denial to the member in writing.
