Cancellations and Refunds

Last updated: April 20, 2026

This policy explains how Escapero manages membership cancellations, billing reversals, booking refunds, and related claims. Supplier-level booking terms may apply in addition to this policy.

1. Scope

This policy applies to Escapero memberships and platform-level service fees. Travel components such as hotel, flight, transfer, or activity inventory may follow provider-specific cancellation and refund rules.

2. Membership cancellation

Members can cancel recurring subscriptions at any time from account settings or through support. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically reverse charges already processed for the active period.

  • radio_button_checkedMonthly plans remain active until the end of the paid monthly cycle.
  • radio_button_checkedYearly plans remain active until the end of the paid annual cycle unless local law grants additional rights.
  • radio_button_checkedPromotional plans may include custom cancellation conditions disclosed at checkout.

3. Membership refund criteria

Refund requests for membership charges are reviewed case by case based on usage, elapsed time from billing, and applicable consumer protection regulations.

If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing time depends on the payment provider and bank timelines.

4. Booking cancellation windows

Travel bookings are subject to the cancellation rules presented before purchase. Rules may include free cancellation windows, partial penalties, non-refundable conditions, or time-based fee tiers.

Users must review booking-specific terms carefully before confirming payment.

5. No-show and partially used services

No-show bookings, missed departures, and partially used reservations are generally non-refundable unless explicitly allowed by the supplier policy.

6. Provider-initiated changes

When a supplier cancels or materially changes a confirmed service, Escapero will assist with available alternatives, credits, or refund processing under supplier and legal requirements.

7. Force majeure

Events outside reasonable control, including natural disasters, transport shutdowns, public health emergencies, or government restrictions, may affect cancellation outcomes and refund eligibility.

8. Chargebacks and payment disputes

Before opening a chargeback, users should contact Escapero support to attempt resolution. Fraudulent or abusive disputes may lead to account restrictions and legal recovery actions where permitted.

10. Policy updates

Escapero may update this policy periodically to reflect operational, legal, or supplier model changes. Updated versions will be published on this page with a revised date.
